Could you give a quick comparison against the OurArt QJ21? Particularly the timbre & treble; why did QJ21 score higher for treble? Thank you.

There's no quick comparison, just the QJ21s are better. But there's a big price difference.

Are they really veiled? It's strange, because they never seemed to me to be. I have a lot of earbuds and I would never say that the Rambo II's are veiled...

From my experience, they don't match the reviews I've read on them, including your review.
I've tested them with different DAC/amps (Fiio k5 pro, Sound blaster g6, E1DA 9038S, and my smartphone) but I got veiled sound from all the sources. I also have the Tomawank, the TC200, and the M2 Pro. All are are way clearer than the Rambo II.

Well, if your reference is the Tomahawk, it may not be so clear. They were some earbuds that I never liked, I gave them away years ago; I needed their lower zone to be more present. As for the Smabat M2 Pro, I have them but I've hardly been able to try them. I have them pending review and I'm sure I'll compare them.
