What a dive, great review man, glad to have found this. As I identify myself with your song choices, this greatly helps percieving your impressions. Congratulations for your hard work.
My set sounds very much more like the Perrivan Audio graph: Perrivan Audio review
That means the treble 'cuts' off at 5 kHz and there's not much treble after that. Some tracks produced with lots of bass are too much. More guitar based music, singer songwriting artists like Jane Siberry and acoustic sounds pretty good. I guess I prefer a more neutral, slightly treble leaning tuning. It was interesting to hear but it's rarely in my ears.
Where some IEMs are new and fun, the EST50 somehow gets better and better the longer you get to know it...........and the more cables you roll with it. I swear it’s not the IEM I got when I first received it? Either I changed or the IEM changed, or both.......all for the good?
