Excellent reviews all 'round. My genuine thanks to all.

No MQA is a PLUS! I shall purchase one as a gift (as in English, a "present", not as in German, i.e., "poison") for a family member! Your reviews were that enticing and again, no MQA!

MQA is frAudio for "poison". But this iFi is free of frAudio poison. Huzzah, indeed!

Im tempted but I wonder how it compares to the qudelix 5k, the qudelix advantage it's the app, so much customization and options, it's hard not to love it. Maybe I'll order it on Amazon and decide if I should keep it. My phone lately it's been a pain with the battery life and I think this is would be a great add

Wonderful review!
Have a question on your observation “you can maximise sound quality from your phone by wiring it up without draining the phone’s battery, something many other dongles don’t offer”.
My iPhone doesn’t allow the iFi Go Blu accessory (as a wired DAC/AMP) and says it is trying to consume too much power! Tried using the Apple Lightning to USB 3 CCK cable and the supplied USB A cable.
When connected to the iPad, the Go Blu seems to draw power from the source (LED blinks green) despite it being sufficiently charged.
is there something wrong that I am doing or is the IFi Go Blu not compatible with iPhone as a wired dongle?

Yes I'm currently having the same issue trying to connect wired connection, i to use iPhone I love this lil guy, but I do want option to have wired connect, I also have android tablet so I've tried to install the 3.05 firmware on tablet and followed directions to update using android, and it now acts like it wants to try to connect to iPhone via cck and it'll play for @2sec then I get the usb too much power message. Would love to hear if u had any success connecting to iPhone?!? And I do have 2 apple cck and 1 cck w/ charger port and they are all apple cords also have tried all my usba-->usbc wires as well, thx🤘✌️
