Agree with most of your view.. Except that I personally don't really agree with 'too clinical for casual listening'... Somehow clinical (but not harsh nor metalic in HM case) allow me to be drifted in the music emotionally..
Also, in my opinion, Heart Mirror is quite a chameleon.. It could easily show the minutes differences of the source you feed it with... Feed it a warmer sources will give different experience from cold source.. Likewise mature vs energetic source would also transform experience with HM.
Yes, by clinical I don't mean they're bad or like KZ steely treble. Instruments like xylophone sound a tad more pointy at times in lo-fi records. Not that I mind it but I'm just nitpicking here.
I agree with you, over chameleonic nature. But aren't neutral IEMs meant to faithfully reproduce whatever is fed into them? I believe that's the reason for this kind of behaviour.
Bought these on a whim and based on your review.
Nothing sounds forced or shouty on these I think.
These are quite fascinating, Amazing what your money gets you these days o.0
@WorksUnit glad that you are happy with your purchase. I did my best to share what I heard and I think for most these are going to be more than enough for regular and portable usage
hi @Barusu Lamperouge .
what tips to improve the lows? i tried using CP100 narrow and the bass is loose i dont like it, but good thing it tames the treble/shrillness ,
now im using stock silicone slightly wider bore , and the bass improved much with staging also. but shrillness i cant bare for morr than 1 hours .
my dac outputs 340mw @32ohms on balanced and just enough fullness to the sound ..
