Great read. Always find the comparisons useful. I had been thinking of getting the Oriolus MK2 next - do you think the detail is a sufficient trade-off for the luscious mids of the Oriolus? Similarly for soundstage - is one markedly better (as I understand, they're both leaning towards intimate)? Searching for that end-game jazz/soul and classical reproduction.

I think the CE-5 is alright with female vocals, but it's lacking in male vocals. I use my CE-5 for electronic music, it's great for the right genre, and kind of below average in all other genre compare to other totl.
