To be honest? Looks like a review by one of the creators or something, more about the marketing and hype then reality, especially Kitsune website.
 
How about another feature in this DAC, if I didn't like it, can I return it for a refund within a few days?

I apologize if this review was too much for you as it was my first. I purchased this dac through kitsune so it seemed quite reasonable to give them a shout out for their great service. No idea about the return period by the way. You might want to contact them regarding that...  
What were you looking for in this review so that next time I can do a better job? 

I bought a Holo Spring Dac level 3. I agree with everything Hi-Phi has said. I will post in the Spring DAC thread but... I first hooked the Spring DAC to a Macbook Pro into a Singxer SU-1 then into the Spring DAC via hdmi is2. Spring DAC to microZOTL via SE. HD800 headphones. I first put on the Enya track "Last time by moonlight". When the first chord hit I actually said out loud "Holy S**T"! Read the above review. I don't think Hi-Phi works for Holo or Kitsune. I'll stand by his review.
