I also have a Micro (although the 2005 version which they at HR say is not quite as good) and pair it with the D2000.
I recently purchased the Astrodyne Power Supply and was actually surprised by the difference it made. Bass became tighter and the sound got "fuller" if that makes any sense.
Definitely worth a try (bought it for 75$ in the For Sale forum).
