Do you think it is worth about 80 bucks? (current price I can get them).  I would primarily use them for mobile applications.  While I have a Shure SE215 sometimes I feel they block out too much noise and could be dangerous.

Recognizing its limitations, I felt It was a good value at the price I paid. Because individual tastes are so subjective, it's difficult to say if it would be worth a (modestly) higher price for you. However, I believe you may be able to get them for an even better price if you don't mind refurbished stock (and they won't block out too much noise).
