Very nice review! I haven't personally used any pair of Grado headphones. How is the build quality? I've heard the build quality is awful.
Also, what do you mean by, "discomfort"? What part of your head/ears do they make uncomfortable?
If you want more bass, try an amp. The PA2V2 is a fantastic amp for under $100.
