I've never tried a pair of Grados that I could wear long enough to get a handle on how they sound. Makes my ears hurt just thinking about them.

I have some older Grado SR225s (no letter suffix at all!) and I recently bought a set of yellow pads off Amazon. They are far more comfortable and I have worn them for 3 or more hours at a time with out any discomfort.
