Hmmm, I wonder how this would compare with Tonekings's $200-300 offerings, especially the T88K. Toneking is also known for delivering a very lush and symphonic mid-centric sound signature. Sounds like the two would probably sound very similar, though I'd like to think that the T88K is the more technical capable one.
UPDATE 05/21: To answer my own question, probably not. I actually got the T88K and it has a very weird unnatural tonality. Mids are very pleasant, but treble is thin and recessed and can get harsh at times. Vocal would definitely sound much more balanced and natural.
