Glad I saw the above post---just got the Pro 2HD for $ 453. Now just need to sell my Pro's that I got 2 months ago for $ 150. All the reviews I have read have been nothing but incredible raving positive. I was kicking myself for getting the Pro---but with the $ 453 price and selling some items I have---just could not pass by the incredible price. End game iem's? This could be it----

great review, i totally agree with everything you wrote. I also own them with some more expensive IEMs (Andromeda, Vega, S-EM9, AK T8ie, Oriolus) and the Flare 2HD killed them all which was a total surprise for me. It makes every other IEM i own sound muffled and akward, Only one regret, the cable... it's ok but i would have loved to be able to hear them balanced, they would benefit from the extra power balanced usually delivers. Save your money and gor for these !!!

Did you notice a large sound difference between the 3 types of ear tips? I usually stick with silicone for durability and because I have to take them out a lot at work, but I'd switch if there was a noticeable improvement. Haven't even put the audiophile ones on since I've heard they're extremely fragile and didn't want to ruin them by taking them back off.

i only use the audiophile foams, the sound is just so perfect with these tips. I've been using them for 2 months and they are still in perfect shape. It's possible to order some spare ones on the Flare website anyway.

I tried the wireless dac supplied with it for the first time last night, is it something I am doing wrong or is it lacking power to drive them?

Do they sound better than the andromedas?

I just ordered 2HD today, hope it better than my old Westone 4. Anw, really love the way Flare has improved themselves through each product.
Btw, do you think the Earstudio ES100 Mk2 drive them (Flare Pro 2HD) well? I already have 2Stepdance amp and plan to buy a new Dac/Amp pairing with my Galaxy Note 8. What is the best 100$ DAC/AMP to drive an earphone?
