A truly excellent review reflecting quite a bit of time thoroughly evaluating a very hard to describe IEM from my perspective.   I agree with your description of the SQ and their cable, oh my!!!!   Anyone looking for an accurate description of either this or the Heaven V will be well served by reading your review!!  Kudos for a difficult job very well done!!

I am actually thinking of getting my first headphone and tube amp, the 650/crack combo and wondered if the 650 has similar SQ as the FAD Heaven??   (Seems like it might particularly midrange and slightly subdued highs, but the Senn would be more detailed??)

Excellent headphone actually, very natural sounding too. Just not very good for using on the move.

Nice review. I ordered these from amazon jp for £73 (inc shipping) last week. Unfortunately they have been stuck in customs for the last 4 days (sigh). Hopefully it wont be much longer.

Out of interest, which do you prefer these or the rha t10i?

I got the Heaven V for 200$ ordering from Amazon JP. Judging from the Heaven thread you can find that the V is way better than the IV, if you have the chance definetely try the V out!

I prefer these y a long margin if you are talking about the sound. The Heaven V should be better given it is a higher model in the lineup, but I have not heard it unfortunately. 

Man, i was thinking about the Heaven IV from a long time, but your review made me buy them...i just want to say that i started with Annie Lennox - I put a spell on you......and i almost fell to tears....Keep in mind i also own Grado GR10, B&O H3, Sony XBA 30ip,Beyerdynamic dx160ie, Hifiman re400, other Sony's, Havi, Future Sonics,Ostry, and so on......Heaven IV has a great sound signature and a very good balance for the music i listen....I guess what i wanted to say is...Thank you!!
