Release date as far as I know is 10th of April - so tomorrow. That's when the first batch is being shipped out if I remember correctly.

Yes, I think you're right. I got confused as I was used to seeing Coax/optical elsewhere, which clearly isn't the case here (nor on the X3 1st gen).
BTW, what is the difference between Coax/optical cables? I never quite understood exactly their use and advantage/disadvantage. My main interest would be to use the X3 as an interface to the Centrance M8...
