Nice!  Thought about getting the X1..  My X3s been good to me though.

It's a great device! Really solid and lightweight. I would get it myself if I have some spare cash in the future.

Yes X1 seems not good enough and X5 is too expensive so that leaves the X3......

Hi dailysmoker, the X1 is really good considering the price. If anyone is on a tight budget or wants a good performance lightweight DAP (for gym or traveling or to just hook it up to their car) I would not hesitate to recommend the X1.

i found no information of importing this DAP around my city,Ha Noi.waitng for purchase

Great review. This looks like it's the new champ in the budget DAP market. I also like that it's really compact so it's easier to bring along vs the larger Fiio models. 

Hey nick67, does this player support .cue files? coz I have a lot of EAC-FLAC on my library.
 
Currently I'm using Poweramp on android and it reads .cue files and display it as tracks

AtomicFrostX, definitely hard to compete with the X1 at this price bracket. The build is really solid and very portable.
 
Hey Metalworks, I didn't get a chance to test out cue files as I usually use a program to split them up before transferring to my DAP.

Metalworks - Thanks for the update! Another +1 for the X1!

nick67 - Yes I'm really looking forward to getting my X1. I think the deciding factor was the fact that the X1 had no problem driving your IEMs and could even drive your Grado SR60 with the volume at 40 or 43. Sounds like it had plenty of power for my needs as I generally use IEMs, mainly the Brainwavz S5 and S1. Thnaks again!

Another question, is it possible to remove album art when playing music?

Feilong4 - You will have to remove the embedded art from your pc. Other than that I think it will automatically displays it.
