I cant seem to connect to the fiio control app tho, how are you able to do that?

It is very simple.
After you establish the bluetooth connection with your phone then you have to start the FiiO Control app.
Then from the menu you choose UTWS3 L or R.

The utws3 doesnt appear in the app except btr5 and btr3k and also tried refreshing still persist.....

Very strange.
Are you on Android or iOS?
iOS as far as I know is a little bugy.
Maybe install it from the beginning?

the UTWS3 working fine just that it cant detect it on the app however it works on the other phones except my my phones: Huawei Mate 30 pro and LG v30+ in my experience
albeit it detect the btr5, btr3k and bta30 funny tho... probably ill send my queries over the official fiio website and thx for replying

Same problem, Phone is Samsung S20 and can't connect UTWS3 to the Fiio app, tried everything (restarted phone, reseted UTWS3, paired/unpaired several times). UTWS3 is working, but just can't connect it to Fiio app.
