Great review! Thanks. I'll be camping out and waiting for LDAC - and yes, you're right, these TWS units dont include it because by their nature they only house small batteries and LDAC / Aptx HD consume too much power, so play time would be an issue. FOr now, I'll stick with the BTR 5 but I'm sure LDAC is coming to cables. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing it with us.
I bought a couple of utws1 together with my fiio m11 and the fh7 for when I go to the gym not to depend on the cable and work more comfortable and the truth is that they are very comfortable although sometimes they move a little you can run and exercise with them on. Yes, it is true that I expected more audio quality, I do not say that they sound bad or much less but accustomed to the sound of my fii fh7 by cable I have noticed a small loss that however with the btr5 in ldac is not hardly noticeable. Still surely buy me a pair again in a few months.
I'd like.to see future versions include a chargeable case, LDAC support, and possibly even active noise cancellation. If FiiO can make this happen, I reckon these devices can replace most current TWS IEMs.
I just picked these up and for the life of me I cant get both left and right connected properly. Any suggestions? I've tried them on my Sony NWZX300 and on my Samsung S20. In both instances the Right channel connects as expected but the left flashing blue is not recognized by the Right or by the device and remains unconnected. I'm thinking defective. Does anyone know a fix?
@markreif you need to pair one of the units, then switch on the second one into pairing mode, keep it close to your device, and it will ask for permission to pair. Once paired, it will find and sync automatically with the second unit.
tried it with both devices - again no luck. Only the Right flickers red & blue and connects. The left then flickers only blue but then won't connect to anything
