Looks like the FH5s is going to be another FA7 aka forgettable set that has too many flaws to be a solid rec.

A real shame as I had hopes for this set.

@Capo Dei Capi In this case, yes. I personally take the DQ6 over the FH5S, disregarding the price.

I honestly do not like the T3, hence its C- ranking vs the DQ6 with the A- ranking.

That's too bad. They look so nice, too, but if you're buying IEMs for the looks, maybe you're buying sunglasses for how they sound, right?

@Zeppmeister hahah lol. If you only want an iem for the looks, stuff like the Kinera Freya (sounds even worse though) and the Peacockaudio P1 look even better (for me at least).

I was right to retrieve the original FH5 as the price has dropped, perhaps because of the release of these "S" which it seems there was really no need.

@Leonne What do you listen to and what is your preference? If you like something like the FH5S, I recommend the Tanchjim Oxygen.

@RikudouGoku mostly EDM, rarely jazz. Oxygen was harman-ish right? i had kxxs and B2 before, i can appreciate they both good iem that designed properly, but i just cant love them enough so i let them go. i still use my Campfire IO and i love accoustune HS 1300 which i tried from the store. FH5 was a good iem imho, but mid bass was too thick so it sounds muddy and a bit to grainy, not to mention its weird fitting with very short nozzle, now im interested in FH5s to see how they fare with FH5 problem from before

@Leonne Yes, the Oxygen is similar to harman. With those genres, I dont think the Oxygen (nor the KXXS/B2) suits them.

If you tried the HS1300 and like it, you migth like the Fiio FD5 as well, they graph almost identical. (I dont have the HS1300 though.)

Otherwise the LZ A7 might be a better iem for you.

Starting to be pretty glad that I sprung for a used set of dk3001 pros at the same price instead of waiting for these. Impatience ftw (for once). Digging the fd5s though.
