hi! how do these compare to the also quad driver Brainwavz B400?

Hello, well by memory, i think that the bass on B400 was less meaty ,more balanced armature like, B400 is a wonderfull IEM to, but built quality goes for FH5

I am earing now the Final Audio E5000 ,they have a diferent sound caracter than the FH5 and need a powerfull source, but they are great too, is a really good alternative in this price range

haha i see, was wondering between the FH5, IT04 and B400, which is the best SQ wise and value for money

Overall, which would you recommend more? The Brainwavz B400, FiiO FH5, or the Final Audio E5000?

Well is not an easy answer, but for my taste and because they are so diferent if i had 500 euros to buy 2 iem with two awesome but diferent sound signatures i will go for the FH5 and E5000, if the budget is for only one of them, with my source maybe the E5000, but is just me that like a more organic sweet type of sound, the FH5 is awesome

How different would you say they are? What would make one better for someone than the other?

Hello the diference is in the sound caracter, one is more musical and romantic(E5000) the other is more detailed and less romantic , is a question of taste, if you want one IEM that can do the 2 things you have to spent more, like the ie800s

I have heard the E5000 and liked it very much. I'm hoping Audio46 will have the FH5 soon for an in-store audition and so I can listen to each back-to-back. Peace!
