What a great review! Clearly delineated and the graphics are perfect. Your impressions match mine so closely. I certainly couldn’t have said it so well. Thank you for all the time and effort that goes into something like this. It’s hard work and under appreciated. Hopefully this gets people to give these and flatheads in general a chance. I have the Aria as well and you just hit the nail on the head with this review.
Somehow I didn't read this until today. Fantastic review, my friend!
For others reading this, @o0genesis0o is spot on! This review nails it. The FF3s are a VERY special earbud and this review does a great job of explaining why. I am yet to run into anyone who has heard the FF3s that didn't enjoy them. If this review doesn't give you a full picture of the FF3's greatness, I can't help you.
Thanks again for the poignant and well written review, bro!
Yup. The ear-gain cuts through the bass nicely. It does not have that slightly mushy / blunted transient attacks of some single DD IEMs like Moondrop Aria. However, because FF3 does not have a lot of treble air, it is not a detail monster. The midrange and treble resolution is slightly below Moondrop Blessing 2, but the bass resolution blows most IEMs out of the water. I think I have heard better bass resolution only with Sony Z1R and 64 Audio U12t.
