@Codename john Yeah I belive it is. All factors are better, including the bass but the bass is the most similar factor between them (in quality).

My wallet says no but I kina wanna pick up the FD5 haha. Great review as always!

@lgcubana Not a believer of burn in. And the stock cable already measures crazy low, so nothing wrong with it.

I never believed in burn-in either, and then I got an IMR, and then another IMR and it's undeniable. Go read some of those threads..... It more than anecdotal.... I know that DD and Magnetostatic on my itsfit Fusions also opened right up after 100 hours

It was bugging the hell out of me, that I knew it was airline logo, but I couldn't remember which one.

Since it has also a bigger beryllium-coated driver, how does it compare with the FiiO FH7? Is it more 'analytical'? How about treble extension and voices?

@hgpardo Dont have the FH7. Check my ranking list for the stuff I have. Also, I have seen some people liking the FH3 more than the FH7.

@ RikudouGoku - Thanks for the awesome review, especially the comparos with the FH3, A7, Tanchjim Oxygen & MB2. I have the FH3 & A7. Though my fav on the A7 is the silver-monitor combo, I don't think it is dramatically different from the other combos you have mentioned here. In any case, I always wanted a single DD iem for my personal collection. Ergo, FD5 incoming.
