How much difference is the SQ compared to BTR5 considering the price difference?

Questions about where to get the machine need to be answered by @FiiO .

Hello lads! My opinion on fiio btr7, btr7 is not an upgrade from btr5 in terms of audio quality. Dac Saber equal ok has the THX amp is more powerful. I listened to qudelix 5k, btr5 + q3 + A5 with iem fiio fh3, fh7, fa7, fa9. Btr5 + q3 = btr7! The upgrade in audio quality and equal to 0 there is just more power.🙂

Hello friend, what functionality does the charging switch on the side.
It's a bypass battery feature or not ?

Thanks

Thanks for the review. I'm waiting for the Peq support in LDAC mode. Looks like a Good bt dac-amp for the price.

FiiO's engineers say they are working on realizing the PEQ support on the BTR7.

That's a great news.

Did you hear a degradation in sound quality after turning on the EQ?
Wasaabi
Wasaabi
Quality is still good, PEQ can be enabled under LDAC codec.

was anyone able to turn off the blutooth completely? I find it pretty stupid that the device constantly sends blutooth signals even when it is used as a USB DAC. If there is actually no way to completely deactivate bluetooth, that would be a pity, but I will send it back then and get the ifi go bar instead...

Bluetooth can be turned off in USB DAC mode by selecting the UAC priority in settings.

Thank you, but I have already tried that and unfortunately it doesn't work, because any cell phone still recognizes the BTR7, so it ALWAYS sends Bluetooth signals no matter what mode it is in... I also think it's a shame that the volume of the BTR7 can not be synchronized with that of the connected device, which is sometimes quite helpful. Since I don't use Bluetooth and it obviously can't be switched off completely + there is no option for volume synchronization I will probably switch to the ifi go bar because it has the synchronization option and I also like ifi's xbass function😅
