Great review, I agree! Just got my new BTR5 a few days ago, and i'm very impressed. Listening with my custom Valkyries, and eros 2 cable and it sounds fantastic both BT and USB/DAC. It also has great synastry with my CL2, sounds great!

BTW High Gain works for both balanced (2.5 mm) and single ended (3.5 mm) outputs.

This is the essence of the BTR5 for me... "I would not call the BTR5 as perfectly neutral but inject with extra thickness and weight in the attack in a very nuanced and revealing macro-musicality." I got mine for $109 off Amazon...Incredible value.

Is it worthy investing in a 2.5 cable for my iems?
Lz A7, Blon bl 03 and Moonsdrop Starfield? Doies it make any difference in the sound?
