Their dual driver build reminded me a little of the R1 (6.8 and 9mm), except with far superior cable and better built quality. I do wish the Jack are 90 degrees though, at least for portable gears. 45 and straight for studio/work station set up.

HiFiMAN has great isolation, but mid-bass is more bloated, and also bass and mids are not as balanced. A71 sound is more detailed.
