Thank you for the review, its very helpful for me cause I also listen to Sawano Hiroyuki A LOT. Just ordered mine today, do you know what's the difference between 1.0 and 2.0?
I know they are headphones from different categories, but in terms of sound quality, how do the Iris or Diy MX500 compare to a low-cost Inear like the KZ-edx? For example, NICEHCK's MX500 can cost $ US13 against $ US6 for EDX: is it worth it?
Else, you were specific in the amount of 25 USD! What is the best earbud in sound quality up to that value? I usually use inears, wanting to start testing quality earbuds. From what you said, I think I might end up liking it.
@cod6793 my favorite earbud is actually the Yincrow X6 since it sounds the closest to iems in a bud. If you want something more different from iems. I recommend the NiceHCK MX500 or the ME80 (discontinued, can be found on amazon japan).
Thank you for the excellent review. Everything mentioned is very clear even for the newest users.
I just wanted to ask if the "ratings" are comparable with the other reviews made by you, or if they are mainly based on the price of each product (value for money). For example, when you mention that these headphones have very high detail reproduction and the BQEYZ Spring 2 have above average detail reproduction: The FAAEAL Iris have better detail reproduction than the Spring 2? Or do the FAAEALs have a very high detail reproduction for the price they cost (without reaching the degree of the Spring 2)?
And finally I wanted to ask: what do you think about the imaging of the FAAEAL Iris? Is it good?
My review score is based on the price (higher price = higher requirements and expectations), performance (sound) and accessories for the same type of transducers (iem, earbud or headphones). So you cant compare my iem and my earbud review score with each other. (a 5/5 earbud at 5 usd wont be better than an iem at 4/5 that costs 200 usd for example.)
So for the Iris, it just means they have high detail reproduction in that price they are at AND for an earbud. Its imaging is good for the price and nothing I complain about.
