Very well written review! I feel as though I have listened to them at this point. It seems like a totally didfferent idea to use 2 BA for bass only. Would you say that they can get almost "basshead" levels with rap and R&B when called for?

I totally lol'ed at "superduperbrid".

I imagine one could probably EQ in a very uncomfortable amount of bass if they so desired, but I didn't think they needed it. There's plenty of low-end material in my demo playlist that would otherwise exploit a weak low-end and the EVO did just fine.

I hope that, some day, I can get an idea what frequency range each driver is playing. It would be really interesting to see if the bass BAs were playing a compound signal or if they were crossed over specifically to avoid that sort of interference.
