Excellent review, thank you. As I mentioned in a separate reply, I just recently received my Valk and so am still warming up to it so I can develop some clear impressions (as well as vs. my LX, Solaris SE, etc). My only quick comment is regarding amps - I first tried the Valk with an Audioquest Cobalt and this was a no-go. The Cobalt has a min impedance of 16ohms and so won't drive the Valk (3ohms). Meaning, the Cobalt was literally shutting down while listening to the Valk...just a word of caution for others contemplating the Valk. This was confirmed via Audioquest directly.

How does Valkyrie sound compared to Phantom? I have LX and Phantom CIEMs.

I really enjoyed the Valks. Like that punchy and weighty bass. Just a little thin up top but a great set.

@mwwhals I felt the Phantom was a very boring (flat) sounding IEM. Id say you could plop the Valkeryie closer to the LX than in-between the two. you get similar bass that is more mid-focused but lacks that visceral rumble and similar but more engaging treble. The phantoms give a more sterile treble where the valk are engaging and fun.
