Terrific review Redcarmoose! The value for money here is pretty incredible given one could easily pay that amount for a Litz cable alone. I wonder what effect this product & others like it has on the mid & high-end side of the market in the long term? Downward pressure on prices or perhaps forcing manufacturers to deliver greater value IEMs for similar price points. Very interesting times ahead, tough not to feel a bit jealous of anyone discovering the hobby for the first time - they're going to be spoiled for choice.

Thank-you, it was a fun review! When you think of the level of competence these new IEMs have, it is in contrast to what was offered as budget, even 4 years ago. ECCI came out of the woodwork here again and has even surprisingly put out a YST-03 already, in the short time the YST-02 has been out. All and all I really am shocked at how these go up against the XBA-Z5 and XBA-N3. While I’m sure many will still subjectively like Sony’s offerings more.........still, there will always be those who are looking for the more flamboyant “up-sound” that the YSTs do. And that is the possible purchase motivation here........that at least there is another choice for people that want the soundstage-size of the Sony IEMs, but want a value and more mids. IMO
