Although we clearly have experienced and judged the ONYX quite differently, I do respect (hence my like) your point of view and writing style. I also do believe that this was your honest opinion and not some kind of attempt to ridicule this IEM. Personally I judged the ONYX when I thought it sounded (at least almost) at its best. Which was after 70-100 hours of listening and my LPGT PMEQ setting on 'Rock'. Because of this, and out of curiosity, I have 2 questions:
Q1) How many hours of (burn-in) time with ONYX had passed, before you came to your final opinion?
Q2) When you used the Lotoo PAW 6000, which PMEQ setting did you use? Or was it just 'OFF'?
