George, I'm not trying to come off as rude, but your review is very confusing and all over the place:
You rated the Sparrow at 4.5 stars, but your review says otherwise. In the cons you wrote "extremely slippery", in the review you wrote "slightly slippery", "gets warm" as opposed to "fairly cool". You said that the Sparrow is your top 3 portable DACs, then went on to say that it is expensive... even though you implied it sounds better than the said competitors.
Your reviews never fail to surprise me, not in a good way. You have been doing this for 6 years, I would expect quality from you, but all your reviews imply otherwise... almost as though you have been writing for 6 weeks.
You went on to compare a portable dongle device to much larger devices with clearly different function such as the TR-Amp and iFi Hip DAC.

@voja - Sorry, I posted it pretty late at night, and completing the Head-Fi pros and cons was done rather quick, since I generally copy my own work from my website
It is a top DAC, in terms of sound, but it is pricey. At 200 USD, there's tons of other stuff you can get, and I would really recommend TR-AMp more. Carrying this one, given it has no BT, vs carrying TR-AMP, I would always take TR-AMP instead.
I compare it to what the price dictates. If you were a random customer, and you were looking to get a DAC/AMP to enjoy music, and if you had 200 USD, you wouldn't be locked to ultraportables only.
