I also listen to GOA and PSY TRANCE ...... do you think VULKAN is suitable for this type of sound?

@fabio19 - I'm listening to 'Sugar Rush' by Man With No Name and it sounds excellent - like with psychill, psytrance tends to have a lot of layers and details - VULKAN is fantastic at presenting these, and the more subdued kickdrums have good impact. This is an older recording from the 90s but even at that sounds really excellent.

Let me know. Thanks, and I'm sorry if I take advantage.

@fabio19 - yes sounds excellent, again fantastic bass, especially the deep rumble - treble is nice and crisp for the high hats, synth sound wonderfully melodic and plenty of room for all of the layers. Great track!

Nice enthusiastic review! is da Devils tempting me again? well it is my birthday soon.....sounds like this iem sound like it is in my sound camp! wish there was an early adopter discount......and more reviews! DUNU has great reputation, and lofty prices...but is this worth the ascent???? interested in comparison to my new tribrids, the Kinda Lava and Moonlight and the excellent tripple driver Serial.....any thoughts???? blessings, drblue

Excellent review, almost covered everything. Can you tell me how it compares with SA6? Which would you refer most for "Fun factor" ?

@drbluenewmexico thank you 😊 I haven't heard Moonlight but firmly on my radar! Serial is more relaxed vs VULKAN, a lot less bass and treble from memory (I stupidly sold it a few weeks ago!). I've not heard Kinda Lava either, must look that up!

@Rubaiat - thank you 😊 I sold SA6 a few months ago but I'm actually considering buying again. VULKAN is definitely the more energetic and fun tuned IEM, SA6 more reference and refined - again, a lot less bass (plus it's BA bass) and treble... fantastic IEM and would complement VULKAN very well.

Hi, great review. How does this compare to EST112, especially the bass, treble details, and 3D soundstage? I was thinking about getting 112.

Thank you.

I haven't heard EST112 unfortunately, it's one I've almost bought several times!

@Scuba Devils Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll let you know if I buy the 112 then. Hopefully local hifi store would get both soon.

Just wondering, in regard to what you stated about busy highs ... if you've done any break in time on this pair ...
Thanks for the review 👍🏼

+1 to the Serial comparison

EDIT: I see you did a quick mention already. Would love to know how bass texture compares between the two but sounds like it might be a hard comparison since you sold it
