Dude, you're writing nonsense! SA6 MK2 successfully competes with much more expensive IEMs in terms of tuning and technical parameters. Consider the review better next time!

successfully competes with much more expensive IEMs
Sure, just like other sets compete with much more expensive IEMs.

Again these are my thoughts, and there is no obligation for us to agree. I will stand by my opinion in thinking they could have been priced more competitively given the current market offerings. Notice no demerits for tech or tuning in this review and "smoothness" is subjective but worth warning folks about.

Great review, @ListernerM! I own these and I agree with pretty much everything you said (except the head stage, which I find average).

I think they are a great set for a very specific use-case: Highly resolving but super chill presentation for low-volume music while working. It's a lot to pay for that specific use-case.

I'll add four caveats, in case they are useful for anyone:
*IME, they sound better with *clear version* Final E-Type ear tips. (Has to be the clear version, not the black). For me, this levels the carve-outs in the treble and brings forward the mids. For my ears, the E-Types also solved the problem I had with the SA6 MK2s wanting to slip out over time, since the E-Type tips have long necks.
*EQ can make the SA6 MK2s sound engaging. I know, to have to EQ expensive IEMs seems like a PITA and a waste, but for me this works out. The default mode without EQ is a chill work-set from whatever on-the-go device, then I add EQ when I want to really dial in at home.
*I have a problem with BA low treble/high mids, so take it all with a grain if you disagree. What I like about the SA6 MK2 is that the tuning has dips where the problematic tones (maybe 3rd harmonic distortion?) are usually most present, and thus diminish the problem for me.
*I'm apparently bad with money.
