Does the SA6 MK2 have any issues with polarity? Like inverted polarity?

@Kesimux no, none on my set. Proper in phase.

Great review. I dont know what Iems you listen but on your personal ranking where do you put mk2? Im considering buy it. Thanks.

@Gustavo1976 right now on my rotation, I’d include these on my top list per mood category -
Vocals/Timbre : Thieaudio Monarch MKII
V-Shape : Sennheiser IE600
Neutral w/ Bass Boost : SA6 MK2 and SA6 Ultra
Versatile to Bright : Noble K10U
Once I got the SA6 MK2 and Ultra, my Moondrop Variations and Blessing2 just became my secondaries

Great. And last, about soundstage what do you think, average, big...? Thanks.

@Gustavo1976 the SA6 MK2 has bigger than average staging, both in width, height and depth. Exemplary for IEMs even. Kinda like the CA Andromeda.

@d m41n man Do you have the 7Hz timeless by any chance? I'm thinking of getting the MK2, and I was wondering how much better they are than the timeless.

@Kesimux Yes, I do have the Timeless though have to say the two have definitely contrasting sound signatures. Technicalities-wise, the SA6 MK2 are a far cry ahead especially with its detail retrieval compared to the Timeless. You won't have to worry about redundancy though as they sound differently enough to warrant the Timeless as your planar set.

Thanks. What I can see on graph its a "relaxed" treble 1k to 5k comapring with a lot of iems. I like energic iems.( comparing with my Aür Neon Pro or Qdc magic 3d...Im more treblehead than basshead).

@Gustavo1976 I wouldn't say the SA6 MK2 has a relaxed treble, rather a smooth transition to the air region which gives it its good staging and avoids the shout. With the S&S tips, the cymbals really shimmer with good extension. Lovin' the sparkle without the harshness and sibilance.

worth upgrading over the original sa6?

@moorashj with all the improvements - yes. Can't imagine going back to the OG SA6 lacking that airy treble and stage.

How is the isolation? I am letting go of some vented iems just because I get fed up with low isolation and wind noise when outside

@IcarusIX noise isolation for this set is quite good though I have to note that there is also a vent hole (1st and 3rd pic of IEMs side-by-side) on the IEM itself (to alleviate pressure) though it seem that it does not pass outside noise. Not sure of wind though.

Great review. Thanks. Would you consider these IEMs to be good allrounders? I listen to a lot of different genres of music but can only afford one IEM, so looking for ones that can handle most music. Thanks again.

@lageir I would say yes, these may not truly excel in a particular genre, some may be more grand in presentation or more energetic but I can say I can't find any weakness or fault on these with any music I throw at it as well. Never particularly lacking I would say.
