At least you had the guts to try it and write about it. I guess the next step is to try some Bose and some Skulcandy headphones. What amazes me is that some people pay so much for some of these. I could see some people paying up to $50 for stylish headphones(regardless of how they sound) however paying well over $100 doesn't make sense to me. If people want an extra bass headphone to play with occasionally, they can get the $30 JVC HAS600 or the $50 sony XB500.

skull candy aviators are pretty good, and Bose IE2 (They go around 70$ nowadays) are really good for their price. I wouldn't dare put Dr. Dre and the other two at the same category. Further quiet comfort from bose has an incredible noise cancelling function.

I doubt most people are buy these for the quality of the sound,l have friends who have jumped from buying £30 apple earphones to paying £200 for Dr. Dre Beats. The same kind of friends who pay £150 for a Louis Vuitton belt, they are making a fashion statement by buying Dr.Dre headphones.
And Dr.Dre headphone do look cool.
