+1 for the Arab Strap song good review. 2 years ago, I had this very portable Cowon device on my radar. After having testing it, I was quite disappointed by its sonic performance, knowing how great Cowon DAPs can sound.

This is definitely not the best Cowon has to showcase. My Plenue R2 for example is a device on an entirely different class. That being said, for $130 or so, this is a good option given how awful the Fiio/Shanling/Hiby players in that price bracket sound.

Quality had, has and always will have its price. It’s all about the sweet spot.
