wdym sub-bass "rolled-off"? it certainly has an emphasis on the sub-bass and extends well. I think it's a good thing to have a quick and deep punchy bass (in which CCA CRA does that very well) rather than a boomy bass (long decay) that bleeds into the mids.
In short, CCA CRA has a deep and punchy bass without having a long decay to the point where it's boomy and bleeding into the mids. And that's exactly what I'm looking for in my IEMs. It's just my opinion though because mine will be arriving soon so I might be wrong.
