You can link to an external amp thanks for the true and unamplified line output but you have to buy a cable.
Either a 4.4mm to stereo XLR or a 3.5mm to stereo RCA depending on the use.

@Robgo , I am not sure because I have a rating for 32Ω only. Your headphone requires a large voltage swing that I am not sure that the RU-7 can provide.

Hello, Unfortunately it's been a long time since I tested the DX160 and I can't compare. If that helps, I think that the RU7 is more refined and natural sounding than the DX170. More realistic.
