@H T T Not really, no. Not nearly v-shaped enough to follow the free-field curve, and too much upper treble to match diffuse-field, though it more closely models diffuse than free. Have measurements on my site.

In metalcore they do not keep up, it's too congested for these earphones.
I will try Slipknot vol3 tonight.
