Very harsh review. I do agree on the comfort side of the things. What a horrid headband!

I do enjoy them when I am in a bassy mood though. My Radiance is tops for being balanced, but the Cascades always make me smile.

Yes it is hard, because I think this headphone is overrated very much. Its incredible how far you pull the volume knob before you can listen to highs.

It drowns out all details in EDM for sub-par gloomy boomy bass.

I don't do EDM or Hip-Hop. I am more rock and jazz. As they say, different strokes...

All headphones have their moment with certain tracks. I think the design and feel of quality is good, but it really doesn't matter as long as comfort and audio does not live up to it. Campfire Audio in IEMs is also a weird size.. Its more or less guaranteed you can get better for less.. As is the case here.. Quality of this sound is $200 bracket tops, but I would choose differently..

Very much agreed with this review, this has so far been the worst headphone i had the displeasure of trying out over a longer time. Pretty much no redeeming qualities except portability.

I wanted to like it, I really did. It was more in the tonality I wanted. It felt empty (in bass) when I put my other Ultrasone Pro 900 on, but even leads, claps, effects were almost non-existent on the Cascade.. All music listened thru a tracted horn where you had to concentrate to hear the whisper.. Not only that, it EQ'ed like crap.. I realized my Ultrasone Pro 900 far surpassed it in details and resolution - and I don't even consider them very good (when it comes to details, resolution and balance). Kennerton Magni was way better in details, mids - very clear.

Did you plug these into a smartphone or similar low quality source? As for the comfort issue, I have had them on for up to 2.5 hours and not experienced any hotshot or other discomforts.
