Brooko again, very nice review again. Man I always enjoy your reviews, good job. I was considering S0 for a gym/running pair. Do you think it would do fine or because of the cable I should look for somewhere else? I don't wanna pay more than 50 dollars for something I would use only when I do exercise.

@AmberOzL - thanks :)  It all depends on how you use them.  I tore a calf about 4 weeks ago so I haven't been running (starting to ease myself back into it now), but with walking they are OK as long as [a] I wear them over ear and use the cinch [c] and have the cable tucked under clothes.  For me it would also depend on the source.  With EQ I would absolutely recommend them as a "beater" headphone.  I know they work well my iPhone 5S and Accudio - but the litmus test will be when my X1 gets back from the Aus/NZ tour.  I just need to be able to replicate that EQ with the X1.  One thing I still need to try with the S0 is wearing a set of tips which I know won't seal 100%.  This may help eliminate any bone induction during exercise, and alleviate the excess bass without needing EQ.  Coule be ideal for exercise if I get the right combo.

Well written review. Now if only Brainwavz would duplicate the attentiveness they put into their accessories onto their earphones.

@Salsera Hi, in no way was that a backhanded remark. I honestly find your presentation of your products impeccable, in fact its comparable to some of the very popular western companies, like Shure and Westone. I also find your build quality to be fantastic. I honestly don't know of any other Asian company that bothers to put adequate strain relief on their cables. It's clear that quality is a priority. Unfortunately, I haven't really heard too much about your earphones performance wise. If you release more headphones that embody the spirit of the R3, I'll be all over your them. I love it when companies take risks. The S0 on the other hand, just feels safe.

Hi Audrey - hopefully your team notes the comments / recommendations. I would seriously like to see a retuned S0 in the S5 shell - especially if they could modify that cable (a nice well built sheathed twisted pair would be good).

@Brooko I report all feedback to the team. See how we made a much smaller Y split and included a shirt clip in S0 packaging ;)
Thanks again!
