That made for an excellent read! They’re definitely something of a specialty set...I found them excellent with Latin percussion as well.

Interesting as my favorite album (with them) besides only female vocals is centered on world percussion? The Spring 2 plays Anastasis perfect? I forgot to mention that in the review. You MUST be onto something there?

All I know is they made me listen to Caravanserai about 10 times in a row :) Will definitely be testing them with Dead Can Dance now you've put the idea in my head.

The Santana album, but this showcases them brilliantly as well.

If I have the See Audio Yume, would the Spring 2 give me something I am missing in the Yume? I have a number of other IEMs that fill in the warmer and/or bassier IEM coverage.

Not to confuse you but I keep it pretty far down on my list. This is of course is a subjective list, but it is what it is. The list changes too from time to time. Amazingly I would rather have the SeeAudio Yume bass that’s missing than an off/thuddy bass. The Spring 2 does Singer Songwriter stuff fantastic, but that’s about it.

Thank you for your thoughts and list. I might just have to save up for the Zen then...

Though look at how my list changes. The DUNU SA6 and Fearless S6Rui were close together when I drew up the list when this review was written? I would also consider the DUNU SA6. It really depends on the music you listen to if the SA6 or ZEN would be better.

I would be all over the SA6 if it wasn't for the dreaded vacuum effect that a number of reviewers/users have mentioned with the SA6. I cannot use my SA3 for longer than 15-20 minutes as I am sensitive to the vacuum effect. I need well-vented IEMs. I might go the cheaper route (B2 Dusk) as my listening preferences go in streaks/phases. I have had the Dusk in and out of my cart at Shenzen so many times...The Legacy 4 has that spike in the 5-6 kHz region that is killer for my ears. I am open to suggestions. Thanks!

I listen to, from most often listened to and decreasing:

J-Pop
Singer-songwriter
Traditional Japanese music
Classical (focus on violin and oboe concertos)
80s music
R-Pop
EDM
Celtic music
Classic rock
Jazz-vocals

Well there is always the Sony XBA-N3. You may be right at home with the N3? The ZEN is going to have the midrange treble like the L4, in a way. Or maybe the XBA-Z5, except then you also need an aftermarket cable. But still the XBA-Z5 is nice, but fit is atrocious!!

I’ve never heard The Blessing 2 but I did read the treble is much like the SeeAudio Yume?

Thanks for the recommendations. I will look into the N3. Fit is important.

From the graphs, the Yume is a baby B2 Dusk. But from reports, the B2 Dusk has notable bass quantity. The B2 and Dusk are semi-open so there are not pressure issues.
