Soundstage is how big the virtual "room" is, imaging is where and how accurately the sounds are placed in said room.

These are my favorite portable headphones, great sound and design, and good comfort and isolation.  One note, the only difference between the T51p and the T51i is the volume controller/mic on the cable - the T51i has it and the "p" version does not.
