Though I'm not averse to opening up a piece of electronic kit and tinkering, your gripe about all the internal configuration needed is a really important thing to note for potential buyers. Thank you. My setup would likely only require a quick "set it and forget it" at the outset, so I'm still going to short list this DAC as one of my likely purchases in the next couple of months.
