Excellent review, definitively following you after reading this post.

The issue with temp management is something that needs to be addressed but I fear this might only be possible in a future revision of the amp as it stands. I and others on the head-fi thread in this forum had already made some suggestions to Aune directly to solved some of the existing issues and possible future improvements to a 2.0 version of this amp. At the very minimum in order to help with ventilation to manage temperatures with this amp is to get some speaker stands for this amp and that might solved or at least alleviate somewhat the heat build-up issue.

Amazing practical reviews, I would even say testing with detailed parsing. I also enjoyed reading about Cayin iHA-6, I found a lot of useful and interesting things that are not in other reviews. Keep up the good work and new discoveries in the world of music!

I also found that using this amp as a pre-amp for my 2.1 stereo system it's probably the most I enjoyed this amp so far. This is probably the reason why Zeos called the S17 "the fixer" when it comes to pre-amping into speakers, whether active or passive ones. The punch and authority that this amp brings to this music it's out of this world.
