Great review, Leo. Made me wish I could afford such a thing, not to mention the cans to appreciate it. Cheers mate.

Excellent, honest review. Wondering why a can of tuna is stuck on the back? :beerchug:

@funch :dt880smile: there is actually a nice video on YouTube with the designer amending the location of the toroidal transformer while he is taking live measurements. You can see the actual noise reduction. Not ideal place but it serves a purpose and a measurable one :)

Many thanks for great review. I would be grate if there is more comparison between Luminare and RKV HAA.

Hello @Burakk good point and just to clarify that I've tried both. Are exactly the same in OTL mode.

@treebug Ive tried the Abyss AB-1266 TC while auditioning the amp and I've never heard these headphones driven so well. I think the designer and @StefanHAA had these headphones in mind. Maybe he can elaborate further. From my experience the RKV HAA and Iluminare in OTL are the same. Its basically an Iluminare without the STAX.

Think I'll give it a try. Excuse my ignorance but what sticks out at the rear of the amp? Looks like the bottom of a can.

@treebug You will not be disappointed and let us know your thoughts. Regarding the thing on the back it’s actually a toroidal transformer for the power supply. Is kept away from the circuit and sealed inside this case.
