Oh, I forgot: I've alos ordered a Shanling M1 to pair with the #11 to get an even smaller portable combintatio. I've got great hope for this being a killer combo

Ahh, OK, thanks. But what about gain control? I'm not seeing so much as a volume knob, let alone any high-low gain switch.
I absolutely love mine and it makes portable Hi-Fi very easy.Great review!
