TMA-1 is my easiest to recommend portable headphone. I will agree the extras are just awful though. The stock cable is terrible for portable use, the foam pads are completely useless too. Get yourself an Ultrasone Short cable, or the TMA-1 straight cable are these headphones because one of the best portables about there.
