Accutone installed a controller than can switch between being an Apple or Android, fully featured, set of controls.
That. Will. Not. Last.
That is the part which is 95% sure going to get broken first. Happened to all 3 of my SM E10S's. I think static electricity or something broke the switch. I really hope it will not break on the Pavos but I have a really bad feeling.
@Pankaic If I hadn't already had other, more expensive IEMs, I would be using these as my daily-drivers. I can't really find a fault in them for general listening other than the sub-par isolation the stock eartips provide.
@jepu22 Considering the generalized shell design, I would not be surprised if the controls share the same flaws as those on other earphones built from the same OEM.
Just got these in for review today. They're quite nice sounding. One thing I will say right now is that build quality and longevity shouldn't be a concern. Build and materials are identical to the NarMoo W1M/B2M twins. While the cable is thin and the housing lightweight, they should be tanks and last quite a while.
@B9Scrambler I agree with you on the sound. However, I'm skeptical of the integrity of the connection to the inline controls, and furthermore, am concerned with how durable the internals are. The drivers themselves are out of harm's way though-- a plus in my books.
@Cinder Fair enough Obviously I'm only one example and I'm comparing earphones from two different brands, even though they are clearly using the same supplier for their housing/cable/in-line mic. Still, I've had nothing but positive experiences with the durability of my NarMoos (unlike most earphones I have not been overly nice to them...review samples after all), and I fully expect the Pavo to be the same in that regard.
