Can you please briefly compare its mids with NEO5?

@shez. Can do when I have tested more, starting to write the review now on Neo 5. Quite different presentation in both bass and mids, thicker in a way on Neo 5.
Going to use Serial, EST50 and H30 in it as comparisons. But can say something about it in the ISN thread.

I'm even more excited now for my Aurora to arrive. Whilst the wait will be long, it was expected and I don't doubt it'll be worth the wait.

Whilst I still want the Neon Pro, I'm convinced I made the right decision.

Awesome writeup! I've read a few of your reviews now and I appreciate the IEM comparisons and descriptions of how they handle the test tracks. I've found that it's a fun way for me to be introduced to some new music.

To say it like this: If I lost it today, I would sell of something else buy it again. That's how much I like it, even more than maybe Neon Pro from AüR. With recent upgrade to evaluate matrix Aurora is now 4.5.

You're still the only reviewer here? XD Could you please post a short comparison to Penon 10th and/or DTE900? Which of them would you keep if you only could have 1 pair?

Hey @hello3adfi , sleeper IEM this one. Not sure what the reason is really, its tuned in a way where it handles almost all music and so many will like its sound.
Some of the reason is price and that the hybrid market is crowded, but IMO it fights with the other and is S-Tier.

@ hello3adfi 10th and DTE900 makes sense comparing to each other as they are tuned the same, more or less. Biggest change is DTE900 being higher end and more resolving, second big difference is that 10th is a slower IEM.

All 3 have their sound signature:
Aurora is technical and fun while also relaxed in treble without big peaks. Easy to listen to unless you can not have forward mids.
DTE900 technical and fast, high energy and very resolving. Bass slams and really moves me, in a way this IEM is not for the neutral crowd. Just pure awesome fun for me, and the people I have talked to.
10th is tuned similar as DTE900 but less treble and upper mids, so in a way follow a little how Aurora also is tuned on upper part. Biggest difference is that it sounds for me more closed in and slow, not as technical. More of a cosy and fun IEM, nothing wrong with that.

The hype of 10th was so big, I was let-down when I tried it. Not that it was bad, but didn't align with expectations.

Being 50% more expensive the DTE900 better be better than the 10th. Akros obviously found them not that much different in his review. Would like to compare both myself... But will more likely get the Aurora instead

@zikarus yeah but as we know sound improvement increase less the higher we go. But yeah it's higher end than 10th, I guess it's 3 other saying the same now . Two of them was disappointed with 10th and liked dte900.

Aurora is a good choice I would say Aurora and NP goes hand in hand, and together can give you different playback.

@Leonarfd Have you already listened to SR8? I think they got plenty bass slam, so no need for DTE900.
