I’ve been an advocate that tuning is (or should be) free. Consumers should be paying for technicalities, driver count, customer service, accessories, you name it, but not tuning.
Good point. Unless an IEM has very horrible tuning, most tuning issue is fixable via EQ or physical modding. However, technical performance is nearly impossible to fix.
I guess the "poor" technicalities are due bad damper paper as usual, similar case with timeless. A quick easy way to smooth upper mids but in cost of smeared bass and messed imaging. My complaint all the time for manufacturers
